2008 ML350
New ML350 owner from Canada
I sold my 2005 MDX (190xxx KMS) and was looking for 2010 or newer Arctic White (with black interior) ML350 with low mileage. We need to buy the truck soon, we went to almost all dealerships in the town and around and thoroughly checked the listing on local CL. Not to our surprise there were only couple of ML350 which can meet our rigid criteria. We started looking for other colors and even Blutech. Finally we spot a Mercedes Certified 2008 ML350 4matic white with very low mileage (39xxx KMS) and pristine condition and very good service maintenance record, no claim history at Mercedes dealership in Vancouver. And we fall in love with this truck in first sight even though it is 2008 and priced about the same as other 2010 available in the market with high mileage.
I am driving it for the last two weeks now and it is our first Mercedes vehicle. So far love this truck and it handles and feels way different than my MDX.
I believe I have P2 package as my truck is equipped with nav, backup camera, heated steering wheel (found the switch for that), auto folded mirrors, hitch, heated back seats, side rails, rain sensor wiper blades, auto dimmed inside and side mirror, powered tail gate, Bluetooth, upgraded rims, etc etc.
I was bit reluctant in buying 2008 but given the condition and low mileage, we decided to buy it and we are glad that we did. Dealership offered us extend warranty for about $3600 for 3 years which we refused, looking at the condition of the truck we assumed that our repairs won't cost over $3600 in three years unless something bad happened. I know we took a risk and hopefully have no regret for that. I only drive it to and from work (within 10kms) and day to day small family trips plus couple of long family vacations.
I am attaching here some pictures of the truck. I appreciate any advise for any mod or anything I need to do in order to keep good maintenance of this truck.
