Weird huffing sound after shutoff followed by noisy fan like noise
Hello:
I own a 2008 Mercedes ML 320 CDI , and lately immediately after shutting off the truck a sneezing quality like sound comes from the mid portion of the engine (as if pressurized air is being released) followed by an electronic sound "vvvvvv" like sound ,similarly to a faulty computer fan.
I have attached a video. Any ideas?
I strongly suspect a problem with the EBOX cooling fan for the "vvvvvv" like electronic sound, which would be an easy fix, however, not sure if the sneezing quality type sound is related or not. Help!

ok, so I found the source of the sound and its this black box located in the picture.
I just need the name of this box and its contents.
Does anyone know?

I second that. All very normal. The black box is the glow plug control module, but behind it is the air intake mixer ducts where the EGR stuff meets the intake air.
