2010 ML63 grille part number
I posted this in the ML63 section but was hoping maybe some one here has upgraded their front grille to the ML63 style.
I need help finding the correct part number for a 2010 ML63 front grille.
When I do an online search I get three different part numbers.
One is for the 10th anniversary edition which is gray. I'm just looking for the standard OEM grille (black with the three chrome stripes), not the anniversary edition which is gray.
The other two part numbers confuse me.
One says black with a part number of # 16488019859040
the other says chrome with a part number of # 16488019859776
The chrome one is about a hundred dollars more than the black one. Does the chrome mean it has the chrome stripes on it? Is the black one completely blacked out without the chrome stripes?
I just want the standard black grill with chrome strips that comes on every 2009-2011 ML63. I can understand the gray one for the 10th anniversary edition, but why are there two other part numbers for the grille? Which one is the correct one I'm looking for? In reality shouldn't there only be two part numbers for this grille? Why do they have to make things so complicated?
