2013 GMC Sierra Duramax diesel
even stater is good - if you check with a Ohm meter, it almost will shows dead short,
Today I got a new starter motor, i check with my DVM is goes to 1.704 ohms then shows 0.000 - and this starter is working (rebuild one)
Before I install it in the car I have to do few more thing, fix electrical short, replace some relays and fuses then remove glow plugs and inject some oil then turn engine by hand etc.
will update you, soon - but give me some time, i have to keep working to feed my family

Jay bone yard recycle guys want around $20.000 since its a Diesel Turbo, and according to them I will have to buy EIS, EZS and SAM stuff too (unless someone can hackit for me).
so let me try the one i have, then will continue with Bone Yard Engine.

Jay bone yard recycle guys want around $20.000 since its a Diesel Turbo, and according to them I will have to buy EIS, EZS and SAM stuff too (unless someone can hackit for me).
so let me try the one i have, then will continue with Bone Yard Engine.

Try searching from CA. My US zipcode may have cut out CA results.
Yes, you can search CA, but only found 2009 and 2011 engines. (I bet they would work)

I've ready on UK forums that rebuilt OM642 (with a warranty) are between $4k and $6k, so this seems right on the money.
This is an exchange price, so you'll have to send the old one back. I don't know what the taxes/duties will be for your situation, but certainly not THAT much ($20k!!?!?!?!).
