Ok guys, talk me off the ledge.
I bought this SUV a couple years ago because I wanted to upscale a step and was hoping that I was going to get more then 100k miles before I had any real issues. Well was I wrong, Mercedes is no better then any other builder out there.
Transmission issue, had to replace a board becausevof shifting issues, under warranty, 49k.
Glowplug module, covered under extended warranty, 52k.
Brakes and rotors at 50k, most of my trucks 75 to 100k, I can overlook this.
Now the Addblu tank heater could be bad, hoping my extended warranty covers.
I see bearings, front diff, and oil cooler seals that a lot of these SUV have problems with.
Dont get me wrong, I love this SUV, its a tank, it rides great, but come on Mercedes, this is like the typical German chick you meet, she makes it painful to love her!!!!
Do I dump her now and look for a Japanese SUV, I wont do a GM after Obama fu@k that company up, heck they had more recalls in the last 3 years then they built car.
