Anyone using THIS OIL in their CDI?
Mobil is no longer making ESP 5W-40 so has anyone used Motul 8100 X-Clean oil? It is 5W-40 (not interested in 5W-30) and meets the spec and is available in North America. Any thoughts?

I haven't tried it in the ML550 yet but I use it in all my cars until now. Will be converting to 8100 when I do it's first oil change.
Use it in my 400hp boosted Prelude and 2005 Odyssey all at 10K KM intervals and my mechanic says I still change it to early.
Love that oil. Costs but well worth it.

I have used Motul 8100 Xclean exclusively in my '08 ML320 CDI for the last 3 years, it is a 229.51 approved oil. I use 8100 access in my gas powered Mercedes and Porsche, it is 229.5 approved. Great oils.
