Looking for W164 - M272 Engine for my 2008 MB ML350 4 Matic
My mechanic is telling me I have engine problem, Timing Chain is loose and it will be cheaper for replace engine then fixing it since it requires lots of work to remove, open engine and then find out what needs to be replaced to fix the problem.
So here I am looking for M272 Engine for my 2008 ML 350 in NJ area if anyone can give me hint where to look for best priced engine. What type of expense I am looking for and what is typical cost to replace engine (Labor) + Engine. I looked at couple of placed and I was able to find engine at $3000 but whole logistics to getting shipped somewhere and getting replaced is making me nervous.
and Oh yes, I have hated this car like never before. I would never want Mercedes in my house ever again...sorry I had to take my frustration out somewhere.
