Looking for info on the ML350

Hello all, I'm in the market for a new car and have been eyeing the W164. It wouldn't be my first ML. I have a 2001 W163 and am relatively satisfied. Aside from the typical pesky ESP light and the questionable workmanship and quality, its not a half bad SUV. I don't blame it much after all since it's the first gen. ML, essentially the first of its kind, so theres bound to be some problems. From what I've seen, the later gen. ML's look pretty good, and I'm assuming they worked out all the kinks from the W163. I just wanted to know some specs of the W164 pertaining to off-road capability. I've take my W163 off road and its a pretty capable SUV. It's no rock crawler, but it can definitely take on sand, back roads, snow, and whatnot even without any mods. I tried Google but couldn't find what I was looking for. So if any of you could chime in with some info or refer me to another tread or something, that would be great.
I'm looking to find out:

Ground Clearance
ESP/Traction control on/off ability
Low Range transfer case
Stock tires (street only or all season/terrain or ...?)
General off road ability
Any other tips, things to know?
