ML320 CDI to keep or not to keep??
Hello all, i have just purchased my very first Mercedes, its a 2007 ML320 CDI. Now ill be honest, the only reason i bought it was because i got a smoking deal, previously ive owned about 8 toyota trucks and suv's which i loved because they have never had any issues.
Ive only had the benz for about 2 weeks now, i love the smooth ride and excellent MPG being its a diesel. Now im very skeptical if i want to keep it or not, being ive read a lot of reviews where owners have spent thousands of $$$ on repairs, most common being the transmission. The only issue i have is it sometimes bangs into first gear when slowing down, ive read a lot of reviews with this being a common issue and the only fix is a tranny rebuild? With that said, will my tranny be braking any time soon? Does this car brake down often? The vehicle has 141 000km with all service and repairs done at MB. Thank you in advance for your input
