2006 ML500 won't start - Not CPS
All the symptoms of Crankshaft Position Sensor except for it won't start at all compared to only not starting when the engine is hot then starting again once cool. Drove fine one day. Dead in the garage the next. No warning.
Replaced with Bosch CPS Sensor hoping for a quick easy fix. No luck. Still same symptoms. Engine cranks all day long on a strong battery but won't fire. Checked fuel pump fuses. Have gas.
Any suggestions? Would really like to avoid a tow and an expensive dealer bill.
