Mercedes Adaptive Learning Reset

Make your Mercedes run like new again. Most of us know this procedure but a lot of us don't or may have forgotten.

While this will certainly make it drive differently for a short while, it is completely un-necessary. Claiming that you need to reset it to get it to re-learn your driving style requires the learn procedure to be a one time thing. That would be a very silly thing for any car manufacturer to do. It will learn new driving patterns with our without the reset.

Thanks, did this a week ago and my ML is night and day. I purchased it used and it had 40k to learn the driving style of an older women. Now it is more responsive to my style of driving, I'm hoping it stays that way but if not I'll just reset it and enjoy.

In short:

Turn everything off (air conditioner, lights)

ignition in position 2

Press gas pedal down for 20 seconds

Wait 5 minutes for the car to reset.

Guys. I hate to say it. I rarely put much thought into claims like this.

But I tried it.

Its a different car. The ML feels so much peppier.

mine also, BUT it will learn any old bad habits in a few hundred miles like lazy and inconsistent shifts
