Please held me ID this W164 CDI Diesel Part (Throttle Body)
Heya fellas,
I've been having leaking problems on the connection between the hose of the intercooler and the throttle body on my 2009 ML320 Diesel.
I changed the O-Ring last year in November and started leaking a month ago - changed the O Ring 2 weeks ago and it's leaking again!
FYI this is what i'm talking about: https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...ml#post6927129
Now, it can't be the O-Ring again as 2 O ring seals can't go bad that soon - so i'm thinking it's the little housing that's attached to the throttle and connects to the intercooler hose, or the intercooler hose itself.
The problem happens when I drive on the street (probably because of turbo loading and more PSI from stop-go traffic). When I drive to work in the freeway in the morning it doesn't leak.
What do you guys think it may be? I'm thinking that part that I want to ID may be leaking and need a new gasket or replaced.
Can anyone help me ID (Part number) for the part in the yellow circle? It connects the intercooler hose to throttle body:
