2011 ML350 BT newbie ?s - fan running / diesel odor
Preface I've only have the ML350 for 5 months and it has 69,000 miles on it today, after 6 weeks I took it in for the basic service (70k service per the dash notifications), cabin filters, brake fluid, oil change, etc. I have put a little over 10,000 miles on 'er in the 5 months. Couple of 'things' I have observed -
Parking in the garage some days there is a fan running for over 90 minutes - passenger side hood vent was drawing air so I have to assume it's from there
Diesel exhaust odors at every stoplight - I understand it's a diesel and I intentionally bought it because it was but I seem to have a pretty strong odor of diesel exhaust at stoplights - waiting thru a long light it's nauseating strong (and I mildly enjoy the exhaust odor)
Unusual shudder on mild acceleration - especially noticeable when cruise is set and going up a gentle hill, it's a drive train shudder - similar to a limited slip rear end shudder found in many vehicles when turning but mine is only when accelerating - really pronounced when towing
Other ML350 BT owners, am I just paranoid? Have you observed similar 'things'?
