Probably been addressed but I need some help. Key fob quit working to lock/unlock doors. No keyless go just smart key. Yes I did check batteries. Put 2 new ones in & nothing. Hasn’t been only a couple months since I had changed before. Wish I could find my second fob. Do they just go bad? Appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks folks

 

The sooner you find your second fob the faster you will see if it's the fob or not.

 

Thanks MAJ. Moved a few months ago & cant seem to locate it. If I’m reading you right it very well could be the fob. I look a little harder for the 2nd fob, because the mechanical key will not unlock the door either. So I really have no way to lock my vehicle :-( Thanks again

 

I would get to a dealer ASAP and order a new key fob. If you are the registered owner, YOU must appear with license, registration and make sure the vin# on the veh. matches the one on the registration.
