Where do you live?
It's difficult to understand what you are trying to say, especially the first line. It appears there is a transmission problem, but there is no guessing about what it could be. The truck must be scanned for codes with a scanner that can read all modules.

The 'codes' do not come up on the dash display. Also, not all problems cause a Check Engine Light.
You will need to get some sort of scanner connected to the car that can read the computers problem codes, current and stored. Again, these will not show up on the dash. Preferably you want a to use a scanner that knows Mercedes codes. A generic scanner that say Auto Zone might use will pull some of the codes, but it is best to use one designed for Mercedes as it in most cases will tell you what is wrong.

Maj. Dundee has recommended one on Amazon that will talk to all the different computers in the car.
I personally have the I-Carsoft for Mercedes This one talks to most systems in the car but not the braking system. I bought this to reset the air-bag light rather than going to the dealer. It wasn't till several years later I saw Maj. Dundee's recommendation.
