exhaust gas temperature sensor circuit high bank 1 sensor 3

Hi,

I was wondering if an IT that don’t know that much in cars can replace that sensor on an ML350 2011?

The genuine sensor is about 100$ on eBay. removing and plugging the new one looks easy but I don't know where it's located.
Any advice or it’s better to simply go to the dealer.
They won't be to happy to see me again, I got a park hit & run on the brand new CLA the lend me last month

Please UPDATE YOUR PROFILE in USER CP to include the year of your ML and whether it is gas or diesel and where you live.

Thanks for updating.

The code you posted is not a valid M/B code. Your code reader transposes the real code, which is six digits long, into their own number.

Here is the location of the sensor.

Catalyst Temperature Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor 2

I have bought the service manual from Emanual online. I have checked the exhaust diagram but it doesnt say which one is sensor 2. I know bank one is on the Passenger side (left hand drive vehicle) but which one is sensor 2?
Its a 2012 E350 Bluetec

Thanks in advance
Sensor #2 is the one after the Catalytic Converter.
