I just purchased a 2009 ML320 BlueTEC with 118,000 miles on it.

A week after I drove it off the lot, these wonderful sounds starting emanating from underneath the hood.

I recorded this audio with professional equipment.

I just found out from the original dealer (2009) that the timing chain was replaced @ 4000 miles.

I also just found out that the same thing was done @ 93,000 miles.

Neither of these timing chain replacements was in the CarFAX.

I didn't do enough homework.
