2009 ML550 Coolant color Yellow v Blue

Could someone please tell me I have a 2009 ML550 which has Mercedes yellow coolant. After 8 years the overflow is marginally low. The warning system advised to top up the overflow. I went to the MB dealer and after giving my VIN he provided what appears to be the correct spec coolant (based on MB spec sheet 310.1). However, it's blue and not yellow. My question is, does mixing the blue and yellow coolants represent a problem? The coolant in it is the original 15 year coolant from the factory and it has never been until now that I have needed to change it or top it up. The top us is minimal, maybe less than a cup of coolant at best.

I've searched everywhere on the W164 Forum without sucess. Any advice would be appreciated.

The yellow coolant that you now have is Zerex G48 (yellow) which is M/B approved. If you have to top up use the Zerex G48 premixed and save the blue stuff for later as it shouldn't be mixed with yellow over 10%. .

You can get G48 in any automotive store.
