I'm not sure what to do, what can I use to check the codes, and the radio turns on and off and restarts until the volume is pretty low. Also the noise I was talking about earlier is like a whining noise and it gets louder the more I press the gas.

The answer to that depends on how much you like to chase wild gooses.
Look, you have a modern car that is highly computerized. The car can tell you what is wrong, or at least point you in the general direction, but if you won't talk to it, it will just sit there, chuckling as it watches you trying to figure out what's wrong. Get a scanner or take it somewhere where it can be scanned. If you don't want to that, then good luck.
