Engine timing

Hi,

does anyone have the instructions/image/pdf on how to correctly install the timing chain to ensure timing markings are in correct positions?
2006 ML350 M272 engine

Thanks

Thanks Maj. Dundee, that is definitely good info. I got some more info, I replaced the balance shaft, meaning I took off both camshaft covers, all four camshaft adjusters and front cover and chain. I marked off where everything was but I would like a complete reference so I can double check before re-assembly. I disassembled everything at the 40 degree shaft position.

What do you mean by complete reference?
