Rear lamp right problem

Hi, my ML show information about broken rear, right lamp. I just replacement it for new, and still don't light. Then I connect first position lamp with second, by the outside wire and they light both great. But... the computer still give me a message about "rear lamp, right". Could You help me? Thanks a lot.

light problem

My guess is that you are saying you exchanged the bulbs and found that they were both good. My experience was the same and I had to replace the small plastic socket that holds the bulb in order to correct the situation. I believe it was about $12-15.
