2007 ML63
2007 COMAND - no GPS, no Satellite radio
Hope to get some pointers where to look at.
I know GPS antenna is in the rear part of the roof, is the XM antenna there as well? I activated XM radio 3 days ago but it still doesn't work. Nav also doesn't see any satellites. Regular radio works fine as well as compass.

If the original radio works fine, then how could a component be faulty?

Not all components of COMAND are internal to the head unit. It depends which model he has.

My hunch would be a loose connector in the back of the COMAND head unit.
