Main Battery Replacement | Battery Message On

Hi guys, first time posting on here. Figured I might as well make an account on the MB forums as well. I changed the battery today however I keep getting a battery symbol with no description. Do I need to use my diagnostic tool? I can't seem to find anything in the manual regarding this so I thought I'd ask you guys here.

Thanks in advance, guys.

Yes you should use your diagnostic tool, whatever it is.

Battery symbol is usually for a faulty alternator.

Hi there.
Did you change the main (big) battery or the auxiliary (small) battery.
The battery warning display is colour coded.
Red battery symbol = main battery
White battery symbol = aux battery
