Pressure Testing Power Steering Pump
2008 Ml350 So my power assisted steering stopped working abruptly today whilst I was driving up a slow windy road and one of the suggestions I got was that it was my pump, so I thought hey how do I test that. Does anyone know where I can find any information on how to determine if my pump is working so I can either replace it or look for the real problem elsewhere.. Is there a way to hook up a pressure gauge to see if it is working properly? Seems simple enough of a procedure. Surely there must be a way to test if my pump is working or not. Thanks.
