Tow away alarm
I recently bought a '59 plate ML280 (W164). We're taking an overnight ferry this weekend with the car, I need to switch off all alarms when parking on the ship, in particular the tow away protection.
The user manual of the car says you can switch off the tow alarm through the dashboard options (vehicle) - I've tried this but the option doesn't come up. I can't see any buttons related to it anywhere either.
Does my car not have this alarm- was it an optional extra? If it does have it, is there another way to switch it off? I really want to avoid getting called out of bed in the middle of the night because my car's alarm is going off
