Burn mark

Check where the bulb is connected and see if there are any burn marks.
if there is try to file the burn marks off!

Hello major Dundee,
I am wiring a trailer converter on my w164. The converter has a black wire that needs to connect to the battery. There is a rear sam in the trunk on the passenger side. Can you please tell me where on the rear sam I can connect this black wire (power wire) to? Thank you.
Can you also tell me the trailer wire colors for a w164?
Tail light
Brake/stop light
Left turn signal
Right turn signal
