Should I buy this part off ebay?

I need a new A/C compressor pulley because the bearing is shot. Unfortunately, I also cracked the grove that the circlip sits in so the plastic pulley itself is also bad.

I've already removed the old one per the attached technical bulletin.

MB wants $300 for the part. The only aftermarket part available seems to be this (probably Chinese?) one on ebay.

Questions:
  1. Where might I find a used pulley? There aren't any at my local self-service junkyard. But if I had one, I could just press in a new (quality) bearing like this guy did at the end of this thread.
  2. Is there any other source for a more reliable aftermarket part?
  3. How wrong could I really go with the cheap ebay pulley? The bearing migh be low quality, but like I said, I could just press in a new one. So it's really just a plastic wheel. Is the MB plastic pulley really that much better? (Not interested in generalizations about aftermart vs OEM. Talking about this specific part.)
  4. Any other considerations I should be aware of? (Not interested in discussing replacement of the whole pump please.)
