Buyers advise needed

Looking at an 09 ML 320 Diesel for sale locally, has 95k on it and everything seems to be in order and in good condition. Buying this to have a backup SUV to haul kids around and then to leave at our beach house to avoid having to rent something each time we go down there. What are your thoughts on major things I should look for in the maintenance history or important questions to ask the seller?

Thank you in advance!!

If it is a bluetec run. If it is a cdi it will have less issues.

Go for a gas version for the least amount of issues.

Diesel engines need to be run for long periods and distances to be kept in optimum shape

P.s. Look in the diesel forum for the laundry list of issues

it is a bluetec motor... I had owned an E320 CDI in the past and never had any issues but don't know the differences between that and the bulleted motor...

Don't know how much that diesel was or what your budget is. But this 550 looks good
