ESP CONTROL UNIT / YAW SENSOR ? Are they the same part

from looking across eBay and posts and google in general, are these the same thing

if so where is it on a Nov 2006 ML320 Se Cdi 4Matic ?????

have ordered an replacement N47-5 (ESP control unit) as keep getting code 5170 (Steering wheel angle:Zero Point variation)
i can clear it on my Autel DS708 but it comes back on intermittently,
i takes a few attempts to clear but does say otherwise remedy is to replace ESP control unit
if resetting it does not fix the issue .
this seems to go hand in hand every time with N49 (steering angle sensor)
reads 15.51 % degrees and it asks me to reset values to between 10..and -10 % degrees
before i can reset the ESP unit

Any clues to where the ESP control unit is in my 4 x 4 and is it also called YAW

thanks
