ML (164) 350bluetec
ML350 adblue problem


This is the code
I own a 2010 ML350 bluetec
Dealer at mercedes said i need to change heating element of AdBlue
Just wanted to ask u if i dont change that will there be a problem cuz i live in a warm area
And they wanted to charge me 3000$ for that
dont want to pay that amount of money im trying to find a another way or should i just bypass bluetec .

You can change just the heater by yourself with simple hand tools. Almost all the DEF heaters are the same thing so you can buy a cheaper one from a less expensive brand. I bought a Q7 heater for a LOT cheaper. Also XEmodex.ca sells better than oem ones
Also you can bypass this quite easily with the right resistor in the wiring harness. If it gets down to freezing ever where you live. I would change it! Otherwise ALL the rest of the components downstream will be damaged. Then it is a lot of money.
