2008 ML320 brake wear light on after replacing sensors
We replaced pads and rotors and sensors on the 2008 ML320 and the brake wear light remains. The sensors were the autozone branded ones. I was wondering if anyone had this issue and if there were any ideas? Also what was the minimum pad thickness until the wear indicator is tripped?

Check wiring harness conductivity of sensors

Check the conductivity of sensor wire harness
It happened with me after service the brake till I disconnect the connector of the front sensor and reconnect it and check the position of the wire along the shock absorber

Agree totally - the sensors work in being open circuit to turn the warning on - all it needs is a bad connection to go open circuit and it will remain on
