Navigation DVD not detected DIY repair
Hi forum members,
I am posting here a guide that a dude I know made on how to remove and repair the NTG 2.0 unit in a W164 or X164 Mercedes. The issues which he covers is the constant reboot right after the Mercedes logo and getting the message "please insert navigation DVD." As he explains in the video doing what he suggests should resolve these problems, but keep in mind that if it doesn't there might be another component aside from the navigation itself that might be faulty.
