V Belt Sitting off on Tensioner Pulley

2008 ML350,
I noticed that the V belt sits on the tensioner pulley off by about 1/8". All other pulleys look fine.I was wondering if it's normal for these engines or is there something I can do to remedy this. Please see attached photo.

Do you mean replacing tensioner and the pulley? If so, would you post the torques too. Thanks

No, I'm trying to find out what the proper belt number should be. Just hang on.

Does your belt have the part number on it? If so, is the part number visible?

Here is the proper belt that should be on your pulleys.
For whatever reason, M/B does not supply instructions for removal of the belt for 272 Engines. The attachments are the best I can do.

I'm going to remove the tensioner just to see what it's like on the loose. I'm thinking it might have warped over time. Just to check. So I need your help for the torque when reinstalling the tensioner.
Thank you
What does this mean and why do you want to remove it.................I'm going to remove the tensioner just to see what it's like on the loose.

As for the torque specs, it would be in your best interest to purchase the WIS material.
The two fasteners for the belt tensioner on most 272 engines require 35 Nm during re-installation. Before you R&R, there is a pin hole that holds the tensioner in the install/shipping position that will make the job much easier if you stick something in it to hold it.. (see photo).
