Bluetooth Connectivity?

I've been running an iPod through the auxiliary input to play music for many years, but have been thinking it would be nice to have Bluetooth connectivity through the auxiliary input if possible.

Does anyone supply a Bluetooth module that will work through the auxiliary input? What are the options out there?

Be aware, there are different versions with different connectors for the type of radio in the car. Comand 2.0 uses this one: Click

You only need to tap into a power line and ground. I'm considering doing it myself too.

I installed in the aux connection an external device which has usb connection and bluetooth music streaming. Has beeb working great only that audio quality is not the same as with cds ose the radio. If it helps the device is a chinese one and named Jie Rui BT- 5708.

I Installed the following years back and it works through the auxiliary input in the glove box. At the time, the device worked off an Apple iphone 4 aux connector. The sound is as good as any and there is no loss in quality. It hides away in your glove box and once you've connected it to your phone, it automatically connects each time. I bought mine 6 years ago and the only fault with it is that the name of songs wont appear on the dash but you can control all other functions (fwd, rwd, skip etc) via the buttons on the dash and steering wheel. Works with all audio (apple music, spotify etc) that I have tried - i expect its indifferent to which player as long as there is bluetooth. Much easier than connecting your phone in the glove box each time the way MB wanted you to.

I ended up using a Coolstream CarPro and Ipod Aux cable, considering what it does is pretty basic its pretty pricey (like the Bovee) but the cheaper alternates I tried just wouldn't work with my stereo so ended paying for the CarPro.I think you get more functionality if your an Apple user which may add some value but for Android its really basic

Did you figure out how to add Bluetooth to your car? I have a 07 C280 and am planning to do the same thing. It looks like the removal of the CD player is inevitable, which is a big headache.

On an '07, you could have an iPod connector cable in glove box. 30-pin. Coolstream has a unit to plug to this that will give you bluetooth reception from a current phone. Song titles on dash display, not on COMAND display.
