In my ML320 CDI 2009 model,when I enter a destination in the Comand nav system the route wants to take me via a location approx 200km away, even if the destination I enter is local.
It's as though this via location is in the system as a waypoint, but I cannot find it listed under any location category, and therefore I cannot delete it.
I have even done a Comand system reset in frustration and this has deleted all stored addresses, previous locations, etc, but this 'waypoint' remains.

I have been on the road that this 'waypoint' appears to be on, but was this maybe 6 months ago .... and I am not sure why it is now appearing in Nav in the last 4 weeks or so as a waypoint for every trip?

Can anyone help me understand why this 'waypoint' is appearing, especially after a system reset, and how I can delete it ??? Thanks.
