I am trying to figure out my battery drain problem on my 2010 ML350; dealership stated that my cooling fan is receiving "quiescent draw" per LI20.40-P-053718; of course they want to change it out for $1,300 dollars & stated this may not be the problem; I just don't believe the fan is the problem as I disconnected the assembly overnight and had the same problem the next day; I also notice my dashboard is illuminating with car locked, from the sleep mode; it stays on for at least 50 seconds; then turns back off; it does this throughout the day....somebody please help me out...thanks....Johnny

 

Well, I continue to investigate this problem with my battery being dead each day; I finally concluded that the replaced trunk actuator non OEM- after market was the problem; I changed it to a OEM Mercedes part & not only does it stop the issue with a dead battery, but no longer is my dash illuminating from sleep mode; it was NOT the fan clutch assembly as stated by the dealership.....use OEM parts as much as possible....
