EGR P1402 Code
Hey everyone,
I got the P1402 code again on my 08 320CDI.
3 days ago I removed the EGR and thoroughly cleaned all the carbon. Today the CEL light & limp mode came back.
Ive searched FCP Euro, Partsgeek & Ebay. Just looking for any reviews/feedback on replacement option.
Borg Warner (FCP) $474
Whaler (Geek) $401
VEMO (Geek) $378
AVS (Ebay) $290
Thanks everyone

Did you clear the code?
Read highlighted steps 7&8? Bolts and seal must be replaced after removal.
There are no P codes with CDI engines, numbers only. Scroll the pages and you will see 6 separate codes relating to the EGR. Your code reader can be giving you false info. You need a scanner type code reader.
