A few weeks ago I purchased a new all blacked out new grill for my ML63 but I didn't like the look on my car with the body color. I decided I wanted to track down a GTR style grill which was harder than I expected. I could not find any on ebay for the w164. I found one on Aliexpress but had issues with the seller and he refunded me. So I tried a different seller and managed to get it very quicky. I was nervous about it not fitting, but it ended up fitting great. Originally they advertise as having no emblem for some reason, so I had ordered one. When I unboxed it yesterday I found it actually did have one. It has some blemishes on the emblem black plastic but I was able to get it out with compound. Heres the final result, the first pic was the stock grill, today I got some 3m tape and attached my GTR style AMG emblem to it. This grill is a bit different from the OEM GTR style as it has the X behind the grill rather than the big opening. I'm not sure why they are all this way, maybe to prevent things from hitting the radiator. Either way it looks good on the car. I really like the way it transforms it from the stock grill. And yes I know there is a gap between the bumper, I need to remove it and put it in place properly, it came like this when I bought it in June.
