06 ML500 Low Voltage Side Marker Light

What is the next step in troubleshooting on how to fix it? Is it just working your way down the wiring harness? Or is there some common failure point on these models? Lastly, I read of some MBs (SLKs for example), you have to do a full lock to lock turn of the steering wheel if your cornering lights fail. Is there something in the cars ECU that is providing the lower voltage until I reset it?

What is DIL? Spell out your abbreviations.
How did you fix the passenger side?
Everything is jumbled .
Did you check for codes in the front SAM?

What is DIL? Spell out your abbreviations. Daughter-in-law. I bought this car for them. But, obviously I want to fix every thing, every little fault, before I give it to them.
How did you fix the passenger side? Just pulled the headlight by removing the plastic inner wheel well, and changed the bulb. I put it back together and it worked. On this side, driver's side, you can see that I am not getting 12 volts, only .6 so the problem is not the bulb, but something else.
Everything is jumbled. OK. I hope it is more sorted out now.
Did you check for codes in the front SAM? Sorry, I don't know what a SAM is? I'll answer if you explain.
There are two SAMs (Signal Actuation Modules) front & rear and they basically control control everything in the car. One is under the front passenger seat where the battery is and the other is on the floor of the spare tire compartment.
Did you replace the bulb on the driver's side?
