Front left Axle Question

Hi guys, need help! Got 08 63MLAMG got front left Axle that is really tight on the joint barely can bend it side that goes in to the differential. At 50 mpg i had a noise coming from the front of the car i couldnt figure out what it was. i guessing this is my problem because its really tight.
My Axle part # is A 1643300701.
My question, is it ok to use Axle from any model like ML350 ML550 i see alot of diffrent part numbers but they all fit W164.
Can i use A1643300801 or A1643302301
Or i only have to use same part # i have? Thank you in advance for any help.

No you cannot use any other axle shaft.

I have no true reason why, maybe they are beefier .
