2009 ML350 4matic low speed hesitation

Hey guys,
I just bought a 2009 ML350 4Matic. At idle engine is perfect, idles and revs perfectly, no codes, no check engine light, yet at low speed it will hesitate a bit, (you can almost feel it physically as a vibration in your foot when hitting the gas) then smooth out at highway speeds with no problems. The car is at my mechanics now. So far he has changed a front axle, driveshaft, ujoint, rear brakes, control arm bushing, tranny fluid flush, fuel filter in the hope's each one of these things would fix the issue. He said it is much better, but still is slightly there when car is cold especially. I also own a s550, but know nothing about ML's. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I upgraded to newer ML rims and tires and that did nothing to help the issue.

Compared to the W211 E Class Forum (I just sold my W211 and have bought an ML550) , the W164 owners are definitely not as responsive.

No, it's not dead, It's the worse time of the year to get responses.

When it is cold and coming to a stop does the car lurch forward or while stopped does it lurch forward?

If it does, the trans. fluid is low and or very dirty.

Good to know.

However, in all fairness, this part of the forum was not necessarily very active prior to the Holidays either.

No, actually when it's cold it acts perfectly normal, when it warms up it shutters, never lurches. We've already determined it's the torque converter and will be done this Saturday. Thanks for replying.

I’m experiencing the same hesitation/shutter with my 2011 ML350 Bluetec. Have you replaced your torque converter? Did it resolve the hesitation?
Many thx.
