I've been having some headlight issues and I notice the wires were frayed and found a YouTube video to take the headlights apart. I have everything done except the 4 prong main connect I don't know how to get out of the headlight. It almost seems like it's built into it but I know it's not but I put pressure against it on both sides trying to get it to pop out for the replacements and I haven't got it to budge.. I've added pictures of the new watering harness and the part that I'm having trouble removing in would appreciate any help anyone can give me.


I want to thank everyone on here for helping me with issues on the past. There is a lot of knowledge on here and it has saved me a lot of money and this forum is a blessing and so are all of you.

New headlight wiring harness

This is the part I'm trying to remove with the four metal tabs

This is the view on the other side of the piece that I'm trying to remove

If you slide a blade down the gap beside those pins, so it presses on those two tabs. Can't you then push it out?

To replace the harness you must remove the front bumper.
