I need to change the positive battery cable connector and there is no slack to work with for me to cut, strip and replace the new connector. Is there any other access to this cable? Any ideas on how to do this?

Yes, the connector broke. But as you can see in the picture the insulated red cable has no slack at all to work with, not sure how to get more slack , strip it and attach new connector. Sorry for the delayed response.
