LCD Screen Replacement - Any Reputable Vendor

LCD Screen Replacement - Any Reputable Vendor
COMAND 2.5 on 09 Mercedes ML 550 (W164)
Long story short is I want to find some reputable vendor that sells factory replacement LCD screens. LTA065B0F0F
After trying two different places, one from Ebay based out of California, but ended up being some distribution hub from China, sent me a totally wrong LCD screen, was some kind of Sharp unit probably intended for Mercedes E class.
Second one, I thought I would give German Auto Tech from Amazon a try, since their screenshots looks exactly like the factory headunit LCD. $270 after taxes and all.
After a long strip-down and removal of the head unit and LCD screen. I was hoping to replace my aging LCD screen that was developing dead pixel lines.
Alas, after a replacement, turns out this product is either defective or not Factory OEM, this is the same crap you can buy from AliExpress ( < $100 ) but a much higher price point.
Very disappointed after all of that effort.

Replacement was much lighter than the original LCD, note the missing bronze strip at the front.
Put it back together and voila, a huge turd
I thought it might have been a lose wire, or a poor re-assemble job on my part. Double checked the connectors, everything was tight. Even re-assembled the old LCD, and things worked they way they did before, dead pixels and all.
So if any of you all have some experience with swapping out the LCD screen and can recommend a vendor that would sell OEM product, I'm all ears!
