2007 ML500
What would you pick
Hello Gents,
New guy here looking for some much needed advice. I'm torn between getting an 06 ML500 and an 07 ML320 cdi. For a little context:
ML320 cdi - price is higher
Drives great, shifts great. Has no mechanical/electrical issues, well maintained, oem parts, exterior is a bit tattered but only cosmetic issues. Mileage is in the 90ks
ML500 - price is quite a abit lower
Doesn't drive as great, Has some front end drive line noise, has some electrical issues, rear SAM might be an issue, some air suspension issues, but shifts are ok. Mileage is in the 100ks
The sensible side of me says take the cdi
But I love me some V8 
By the time all the necessary repairs are done, it would probably be close to the price of the cdi.
What additional hidden issues do I need to look for? I have an icarsoft, can do a little bit of tinkering here and there.
