Window Switch
Need to replace passenger window switch. I see it on Amazon for 10 bucks (Bapmatic?).
Hmmm...do I dare risk it? Mercedes brand is ~50 list.
But for certain it's not made by MB. As someone discovered here
the door lock motors are made in China
I see in this photo the logo of the OEM. Anyone recognize it?

Remove the door panel.
How you say? Generally speaking remove the SRS badge.
Usually a screws there. A couple screws by door latch.
More screws in door handle, pry door panel off carefully
around the edges. Probably a detailed document somewhere.

The metallic trim strip pops off to reveal some screws and there is one behind the plastic piece that is behind the door latch. Use a trim tool to pop the fasteners around the perimeter of the door. It has been awhile since I replaced the window switch in my GL, but i think it just clicks in place and can be pushed out from inside the door panel. I used a cheap replacement and it is still working many years later.
