ML350 Bluetec Wheel size 18"?

Just joined the forum! I'm picking up 2010 ML350 Bluetec next week (its in service for emissions right now). I actually had 2008 ML320 cdi long ago so pretty excited to jump back into the MB.

Currently this ML has two sets of wheels; stock 19" and a set 20" wheels....However I'm looking to get a bit more sidewall for light 'soft roading' and would love to put some 18" on it with a ratio of 60 or 65 on them...likely 30"-31" tire (19" tire choices are a bit limited too).

-So anyone know if 18" will clear the calipers?

I found this chart showing wheel sizes ranging from 17" to 21"...but no ideal if thats actually true with clearance of brake calipers. Additionally searched quite a bit without finding anything substantial on the topic (likely most go the other direction).

Thank you Josh

Good Night

A1644011502 is the part number of an original wheel 18" size for ML 350.

So I believe that is no problem using it.

Check your brake rotor diameter. If you have 350mm front rotors or smaller, 18" will fit.
