I got this error again during driving today, I was driving to lower the speed and it suddenly came up and gear was kind of jerk like it was forcefully changing gear. After two or three gear, gear started showing 'D' otherwise sign of gear position was gone.
I drove to workshop to check error codes there were loads of errors related to ECM,TCM, EIS etc.
They cleared up but it appeared again unless we disconnected battery wire to reset.
I went to key guy who i knew for GL 500 fixed up. He checked EIS in his system he said there is something wrong with the software some C09 is not sending signals to ECM. He further said he can try replacement of EIS with transfered same data to new EIS and check if it would work.
I have exactly same errors and symptoms like Alex got. No Indicator, Horn, etc works when this error appears.
I hope you guys will come up with some solution because the key guy is just trying to see EIS program.
