New ignition, new key that matches ignition, anti theft system activated

So we had a scumbag locksmith come charge us 600 for a new key and just to fix the ignition. It worked for about three weeks then started becoming inconsistent again, called guy back, waited two weeks so I bought a matching ignition with key, installed it myself the engine tried to crank once since but after that no more, but when I put the key in everything else comes on even the fuel pump. Mind you after the last time the car started and was actually running, our belt and an idle pulley went since I have changed those could the battery maybe have died and that’s why it won’t start? The started doesn’t even make a sound but also on my screen it says anti theft system enabled, turn car on and restart but of course the engine doesn’t even attempt to start over PLEASE HELP😫

Why are you posting a photo of the engine?

The key is coded to “ignition” also ecu (engine) transmission (tcu) gateway and probably cluster. Could be more. Nothing is simple.

So then you must replace the idler pulley, belt, and for safety measures, replace the tensioner pulley.
