*Check component M4/7 (Engine and AC electric suction fan with integrated
control). Positioner signals fault.

So guys this is the fault code I am getting on My ML300cdi i know diesel models are apparently not common in the USA , but anyway after plugging in star this code was stored , and what happens is after around 20 minutes of driving I get the thermometer symbol pop up on the central dash , a fan test was carried out and fan works , also cool isn’t temp sensor replaced , also I have monitored live data and coolant temp is good . Could it be the start of a faulty suction fan control module ? The only thing we did notice was when the car was plugged into star whilst increasing the fan speed and decreasing it was very slow to respond but eventually the fan would go up a gear and speed up but this would take some time as if it was thinking about it , please also note that when the test was being carried out you need to have 12.5volts , unfortunately the test was carried out at 11.8Volts but I’m sure this really would not of made a difference ,

cheers Guys any input would be appreciated
